I just wanted to put some pictures up of Steven awake since there are so many pictures of him sleeping. He is awake more now. He usually stays awake for about an hour after 2 of his feedings (as long as those are daytime feedings I’m okay), but he does love his sleep! 🙂

This is how we roll
I’m not one of those people who can stay home everyday (even though I’m getting to be a “stay at home” mom right now), so we’ve been venturing out somewhere almost everyday. We had a great playdate on Thursday in Katie’s backyard. There were 5 two year olds, a 22 month old (Macy), a 8… Continue reading This is how we roll
Fly Navy!
My dad has been training Macy to say “fly Navy” since she could talk. He “flies” her around the room and she absolutely loves it. Dad ordered a pink “Fly Navy” shirt online for her and mailed it to her this week. It’s definitely a hit! Holding her airplane with her Fly Navy shirt. Mommy… Continue reading Fly Navy!
Tis the season to consign!
I’m very thankful that Columbia has several huge consignment sales because that’s where I get all of Macy and Steven’s clothes for the season. There are sales in the spring and the fall so we can get their full wardrobe for great prices! My favorite sale is the M.O.M. sale that the Mothers of Multiples sponsors.… Continue reading Tis the season to consign!
My favorite outfit so far…
Part of the fun of being a mom is getting to play dress up with your kids…at least while they’re little and haven’t grown their opinions yet. I bought this skirt at kohls on clearence at the end of summer last year and was so excited to find that one of the shirts I bought… Continue reading My favorite outfit so far…
First nap on the couch
Macy took naps on the couch a lot when she was a baby (until she started acting like she could roll over) because it was a great way to have her close by so she could take a good nap on her tummy while I was watching her. She loved her couch naps and started… Continue reading First nap on the couch
2 month stats
Steven had his 2 month checkup today. He’s a very healthy 8lb 2oz little boy. He’s 20 inches long now, so he’s grown 2 inches in the past 2 months. Today is actually his due date. His doctor said that his weight, length, and head circumference are perfect for a newborn (since that’s what he… Continue reading 2 month stats
Still crafting!!
I finished my first official bow tonight and it actually looks pretty good…except that I realized that it’s a little crooked after I took a picture of it…hopefully you won’t be able to tell when it’s on her head. The middle ribbon (which was the cutest part) doesn’t show up very well so I think… Continue reading Still crafting!!
Easter Egg Hunt
LPC had an Easter egg hunt Saturday morning, so Doug’s mom and I took Macy and Steven. The hunt was in an incredible neighborhood that Doug and I absolutely love. This neighborhood has a huge lodge in the very back that has it’s own pool (and you can’t see it, but the river runs right… Continue reading Easter Egg Hunt
Feeling crafty
Doug has been very motivated to get things done this weekend (and thank goodness he is, because my motivation ends at getting off the couch). He decided to hang the letters that I bought to spell Macy’s name. I LOVE IT!! It makes us both want to finish her room so it will look like… Continue reading Feeling crafty
