Macy and Steven spent a half hour this morning laughing hysterically while they played with Doug’s belt. I think it’s the best toy in the house!!

Macy…3 years & 2 months
If I had to describe Macy in one word at this point in her life it would definitely be “big girl” (yes, I know that’s 2 words, but you know what I mean). She has taken a lot of big steps in the past 3 weeks that I’ve been off bed rest…mostly because she had… Continue reading Macy…3 years & 2 months
First Haircuts
Macy and Steven had their first haircuts a couple of weeks ago. I have wanted to cut Macy’s hair for a while. The only haircut she’d had before was when Omie cut off the baby hair on the back of her head that didn’t fall out with the rest of it so it looked like… Continue reading First Haircuts
Logan has the coolest stuff
So far Macy and Steven haven’t shown any signs of jealousy of Logan, but now that they’re realizing that Logan has all of the cool stuff that might change! Macy thought Logan’s chair was perfect for lounging…Steven thought it was a great spot to read…thankfully Logan couldn’t have cared less. 😉
A success and a fire
You never know what’s going to happen around our house these days. A potty training 3 year old, a dare devil 18 month old, a newborn, and 2 sleep deprived women can make for some interesting times (poor Doug doesn’t stand a chance!!) and tonight was no exception. The night started like any normal night… Continue reading A success and a fire
In Other News…
Macy started potty training today (which is now yesterday). She is very excited about wearing her panties and sitting on the potty. I gave her a new “potty puppy” (a puppy that my stuffed animal fanatic can only hold while she’s sitting on the potty) and we’ve been watching potty song music videos all day… Continue reading In Other News…
Thanks Uncle Bobby
Macy has been asking Doug to open her water table all week, but Doug’s been trying to finish the deck before he add something else outside. Today Macy pulled out the big guns and went straight to Uncle Bobby and asked him to put her water table together. Smart girl…she knew Uncle Bobby couldn’t say… Continue reading Thanks Uncle Bobby
Just a few reasons why we love Oppie, Uncle Brad, & Aunt Steph
My dad, brother, and sis-in-law came over for the birthday weekend (which I don’t have any pictures of yet bc Brad was the photographer for the weekend…which I’m VERY thankful for. I’ll post some when I get them from him). Brad and Dad helped Doug on phase 2 of the new deck (Doug has lots… Continue reading Just a few reasons why we love Oppie, Uncle Brad, & Aunt Steph
Fun for the whole family
I was blessed by an incredible gift basket from Mary Gasque, one of Doug’s very sweet clients (whom I’ve never even met!). He told me that a client had something for me, but I never expected the huge basket that he brought in! It was awesome! Macy’s eyes were huge when Doug brought it in…she… Continue reading Fun for the whole family
Sometimes
Sometimes when you’re on bed rest and your eye level with your 1 year old and shorter than your 2 year old, you feel more like an exhibit at a children’s museum than like a person. Here Macy is “tying a bow” (aka making my pants super tight) and Steven’s trying to turn my belly… Continue reading Sometimes
