Macy took naps on the couch a lot when she was a baby (until she started acting like she could roll over) because it was a great way to have her close by so she could take a good nap on her tummy while I was watching her. She loved her couch naps and started sleeping on her tummy as soon as she could roll over. Steven got to sleep on his stomach in the NICU because he was hooked up to the monitors, but I haven’t let him nap on his tummy since he’s been home. After he had his bottle at 4:30 this morning he was squirmy and could get settled to go back to sleep and since sleep at 4:30am is very important to me, I decided to let him nap on his tummy while I pumped. He passed out and was snuggly the entire time. Thankfully he stayed asleep when I put him back in the papazan chair and took him to bed. I think we have many more naps on the couch in our future. 😉

GREAT NEWS!!!
It’s amazing how much better they sleep on their tummies. Eli took lots of couch naps too, with my leg beside him to make sure he didn’t fall off while I dozed too! 🙂
