Logan's Update

Logan’s in sort of a holding pattern right now. His respiration is usually much better (today it was 30-50 while I was there), but he still has episodes where it will spike and his chest will retract like it was in the beginning. It's Kangaroo Day!!

Look Who's Not Blue!

Logan’s blue lights are off (and hopefully they’ll stay that way)! His oxygen is down to 27 percent. His respiratory rate is still about the same, but I could really tell today that he wasn’t having to breathe as deeply to get a breath. Snuggler in Training

The Special Care Nursery and NICU have little fleece beanbags that they use to help snuggle the babies into a fetal position. Doug went tonight to see Logan and sent me this picture. Logan looks like he’s snuggling with his beanbag. I love it!!

Logan's Update

Logan’s down to 34 percent oxygen. His respiratory rate is down but still inconsistent. The pneumo is almost completely gone!! His doctor said that there’s a little residual fluid left in lungs but nothing more than she expected. All labs have come back negative for infection so he’s off antibiotics.
