Look Who's Not Blue!

Logan’s blue lights are off (and hopefully they’ll stay that way)! His oxygen is down to 27 percent. His respiratory rate is still about the same, but I could really tell today that he wasn’t having to breathe as deeply to get a breath. They’re bumping him up to 19CCs for 4 of his feedings and 24CCs for his other 4 feedings. They won’t need to give him lipids through his IV now that he’s taking more milk and so far he’s been tolerating the milk well…to prove it, he’s back up to his birth weight!
His nurse turned the lights off and took off his “sunglasses” while we were there, so he wasn’t really happy about all the sunlight in his eyes…this is his irritated face…and he’s blowing bubbles. 🙂

  1. I’m glad he is doing so well! 🙂 By the way, I’ve decided that his feet look really long so he is going to be tall. Ha!

    1. His feet and fingers are REALLY long!! If you judge the size of babies the same way you judge the size of puppies then he and Eli can be on the same basketball team!! 🙂

  2. So proud of Logan! He’s doing so well 🙂 Glad to see him making so much progress in just one week. And the bubbles are presh!
