Up and running

Yes, it’s been a while since the last post…and no, there aren’t any new pictures up yet, but the good news is that life as we know it is almost starting to feel normal.  I just finished my second week at school with kids (mom was here for the first week, so that one almost doesn’t even count) and it seems like out schedule is starting to calm down a little.  Doug still has a to do list a mile long for the new and the old house and I have a good bit of school work to do over the long weekend (and washing clothes might help us all), but I think we’re settling in.  I’m going to go to the grocery store tomorrow for my first “big trip” since we’ve been moved in and I’m hoping that I can cook some meals on Monday to last us through the week. 🙂
Macy is doing great.  We had a little lactose intollerance issue, but I’ve cut out dairy for a while and she seems to be doing better (not to mention that I’m a dairy-a-holic, so I’m hoping to lose some more baby weight with this change).  She went to the doctor last week and is a healthy 12lbs. now.  Yesterday was her 3 month birthday, so we’ll go back next month for another check-up and round of shots.  She’s having a great time at her Omie’s house and loves “talking” to Zoe when she goes to Katie’s house on Fridays (Katie’s taken some cute pictures that I’ll post when I find my camera cord…it’s still in a box somewhere I think).  She’s doing great with holding her head up and is at a full 90 degrees when she’s on her tummy.  She doesn’t seem too interested in rolling over yet, so we might have a while before we get there.
That’s about all going on with us…Macy, work, and getting the new house settled.  I’ll get more pictures up soon! 🙂
