Macy and Steven hated our original swing. I’d hear other mom’s go on and on about how their babies would sleep hours in their swings…never happened in our house. My mom borrowed a cradle swing (one that can swing side to side or front to back) while we were in MS last summer and once I saw how well Steven slept in it I knew I had to have one for our next baby. A great deal on Craigslist and another baby later…bliss.
Those are the only kind of swings we use at the daycare. Most of the babies love going side to side and we love that they are happy! 🙂 I’m definitely going to have to borrow the “new” swing for our next baby b/c Eli hated the first one too! Maybe there will be a long enough break in between babies for me to use it…..ha! 😉
