Christmas cards haven’t always been the easiest part of the season for our family. Doug has designed our last 2 Christmas cards…the cards with the ultrasound pictures, but with everything he’s had on his plate this year, I really wanted to take that task off his shoulders. I was so excited to see that bloggers are able to get 50 free Christmas cards this year from Shutterfly for writing a blog about their products (to get more information click here ). I’ve looked through the Christmas cards on Shutterfly’s website and I’m having a lot of trouble choosing. Here are some of my options (but there are SO many, I could change my mind in 10 minutes!).

I really like both of those, but getting one good picture of BOTH kids…I’m hopeful, but doubtful…so this option is probably more realistic….

I’ve ordered cards and photobooks from Shutterfly before and have been impressed with their products…and they have sales ALL the time (which makes everything better). If you’re looking for cards that aren’t quite as Christmasy…maybe a birthday card for a certain little boy who will be turning 1 in a couple months..they’ve got lots to choose from. I’m hoping for a nice sale to come along about the time I order birthday invitations. I’ve also thought about making calendars for gifts this year. Doug’s mom gave us one for Christmas last year and I’ve LOVED getting to see different pictures of Macy on my calendar each month. You can check out Shutterfly’s collection of calendars here.
Now that I have our Christmas cards’ design taken care of this year, I get to move on to the hard part…taking the picture. Wish me luck and have fun waiting on pins and needles (yeah right) to see how it turns out! 😉
