whew…..quite a bit of activity

ok…..im sorry, but tons of nurses and jenns doctor have been in and out of here…….we have gone from 3cm to now the doc says we may be close to 7cm!!……jenn got the epidural and she said she was good to go…..she was cruising along then we had a little scare….she and the baby had a little drop in blood pressure then the baby heart monitor had a little malfunction and stopped monitoring the baby heart rate……then BAM…..there was an entourage of docs and nurses in the room…..jenn was put on oxygen and they had to put a special heart rate monitor on the baby’s head to get the heart rate……..this shook us up pretty bad, and thus i haven’t updated in a while…..but all is going good now!!!……please keep jenn in your prayers as everything is new for her right now…..the emotions, the physical changes with the iv, and the whole hospital experience at once…….
the doc has broken her water and hopefully the baby will want to come soon!!!
by the way, i read your comments to jenn and it means so much to her right now so KEEP EM COMING!!!

  1. that does sound like a rush of activity!!!! I can’t believe that you guys are going to have a baby soon! I’m still holding out for a girl. (i’m stubborn what can i say) Agree with Bobby though Peanut knows where it’s warm and snuggly … he/she wants to stay in there!!!

  9. Okay….Lori K sent me a text w/this website on it….Thank goodness! All the suspense was driving me crazy!!!! All I can say is YEA! There will be a baby SOON!! 🙂 VERY SOON!!!!

  14. Oh Yeah. Advice…. Well I’ve always been told to focus on the future and it will make getting there so much easier. So focus on what it feels like to not be eating for 2, carrying the weight of 2, sleeping with a basketball strapped to your stomach, and getting to wear your normal clothes again! It will all go by really fast! LOL 🙂

  15. that is scary – something similar happened to wes and he had the little monitor in his scalp too – it’s gonna be ok but there will be a little red mark on his / her scalp when she / he is born so don’t be scared 😉
    just make sure everyone is revolving around jenn and making her the most comfy and happy she can be 🙂
