The Puff

When Steven went for his 9 month checkup last week, his doctor said that I could start giving him some finger foods…very soft carrots, cheerios, or puffs.  Macy loves puffs…she still eats them when I buy them as a special treat, so I figured I’d try one with Steven.  He was NOT a fan….at all!  I’ve had my camera ready with every new food I’ve given him waiting for him to not like something.  So far, nothing…until the puff!  I almost didn’t think to get my camera because what baby wouldn’t like a sweet little puff in their mouth?  Apparently ours!

He was happier after he was able to get part of it out of his mouth…

Until he realized there was another little part in there that made him gag…

Poor little guy!  I have to admit that watching this was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.  The pictures really don’t do it justice.  Macy gagged the first time she ate peas as a baby and now Steven gags on puffs…I would have never guessed!
