My Little Pumpkins

I had the idea to take the kids pictures with all of our pumpkins (we ended up with 5 this year!).  Further evidence that there’s never a dull moment with a 2 year old and a 9 month old. 🙂  Here’s how our “photo shoot” went….
Steven was napping, so I took Macy out by herself first (which ended up being a good decision).  As we all know, Macy doesn’t pose, smile, or usually look at the camera, but she was excited to see all the pumpkins outside on the grass so she at least didn’t cry or run away…a success in my book!

She had fun picking up and playing with the pumpkins….until she found the sticker….

then the sticker had to go on EVERYTHING!

Meanwhile, Steven woke up, so I went and got him (and Macy’s snack).  I plopped him down in the pumpkins and this was the first picture I took…ah, the ease of photographing this little guy! 🙂

It took about 10 seconds for Macy to realize that Steven was getting the camera’s attention…

So I told her to sit on the other side….

I love how they interact.  Steven adores his big sister…and she usually reciprocates. 😉

Macy of coarse had to point out which pumpkins were hers and which were Steven’s.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the afternoon…yes, I chopped his head off on purpose…not that I don’t think he has the cutest face, but I love his little baby belly!

Macy got up (because 2 year olds don’t sit still very long…especially when they’re not crazy about having their picture taken) and Steven had fun getting to touch the pumpkins.

I guess Macy didn’t think Steven quite understood her first lesson of who’s pumpkins were who’s because she felt the need to point them out again…with a very large stick.  (There were no 9 month olds…or pumpkins…harmed in the taking of this picture)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steven’s Halloween socks…

And as we’re packing up to go inside, what does Macy do?  Give me the cutest picture of the day. 🙂  I love my little pumpkins!
