Anyone who knows me well knows that I am not a fan of cold weather…at all! My idea of a nice winter would about a week or 2 of weather cold enough that I can wear my sweaters and scarves and snuggle under a blanket and drink hot chocolate….that’s really enough winter for me. So I’m very excited about spring’s arrival. Bring on the warmer longer days, beautiful flowers, and Easter (my favorite holiday…and not just because of the cadbury eggs)!
The bulbs around our house are starting to bloom (which is very exciting for someone with a thumb as black as mine!). I think some of our tulips are a little lazy though because they aren’t growing up before they bloom and they were planted just as deep as the others…oh well, I’m just happy they’re blooming at all! 🙂
That pink tulip is BEAUTIFUL! Love the color – but I must admit, I’m growing Midget Tulips as well. My mom thought maybe it’s because it doesn’t get cold enough for their taste??? Either way I’m pumped for Spring’s Arrival, too! I always say any cold weather after Christmas is just Winter wearing out its welcome!!
I bought some Cadbury eggs today!!!
