Forgotten announcement

I forgot to tell everyone (and mostly remind myself for his baby book) that Steven’s umbilical cord fell off on Wednesday! That’s one perk of having a NICU baby…not having to deal with the umbilical cord! (I’m also trying to convince his nurses to teach him to not pee or poop while he’s having his diaper changed) 😉 His nurse asked us if we wanted to keep it (no offence to any of my dear friends who did that), but that completely grosses me out! I figure that he’ll have his belly button for the rest of his life and that’s enough reminder of his umbilical cord for me! 😉
