First walk with 3

Steven’s last morning of speech was a few weeks ago.  Both his early interventionist and speech therapist came to “dismiss” him.  They were definitely hand picked by God for our family.  They were both incredible and we have one very chatty little boy to prove it!! 🙂  Once they left both kids were kind of bummed.  It wasn’t a zillion degrees outside yet, so I thought we could go on a walk.

School hadn’t started yet, and Macy obviously needed to get some energy out because she ran the entire time.  I pushed Logan and Steven in the stroller.  It went really well, but by the time we got home it felt like we were on the surface of the sun.  The kids (and I) were hot and ready to be in our cool air conditioned house…and I decided this would be the perfect time to try and get a picture to remember our fun walk…seriously, you’d think I haven’t learned anything in the 3 years that I’ve been a parent.  As you can tell, Macy and Steven were less than thrilled to spend an extra 30 seconds outside for mom to snap a picture (thankfully, Logan was passed out the entire time).

Both were very happy once they were inside with some water…

and crayons.  Maybe I should have skipped the walk and gone straight to the crayons.
