Steven was wide awake when I got to the hospital today. He had the same nurse as yesterday, so I got to play mom again…love it! He nursed about 10 mins before he really started getting sleepy. By the time he burped, he was finished and wouldn’t open his mouth to try again no matter how much I tortured him. 😉 He drank 16ml in the 10 mins that he nursed, so I was happy with that.
His nurse also told me that he drank his ENTIRE bottle last night (he hasn’t done that since he was taking 16ml as his entire feeding…he’s taking 41 ml now I think) and his bilirubin is down to 9.5…he’s lower than 10 for the first time in over a week! Let’s hope he keeps going down!
