Playing with Daddy

Doug is the best toy our kids have.  He will lay on the floor when he gets home and they will crawl all over him!  He’s a great daddy!! Steven is a true daddy’s boy…makes my heart melt.

Child Labor

Steven could care less about child labor laws.  This kid is obsessed with vacuum cleaners! He can even convince Macy to help! I really hope this fascination continues for the rest of his life (his wife will thank me). 🙂 And speaking of Steven…this is his new way of “smiling” for the camera…awesome.

Winter

Winter is OVER!!!  That’s the best thing I can say about winter at this point in my life.  Having 3 young kids so close in age (1 thumb sucker & 2 preemies) is the perfect recipe for 3 months of the crud.  Thankfully no one got RSV this year!  The kids did have a fun… Continue reading Winter

Mississippi roots

Macy and Steven had their first creole cuisine…red beans and rice (one of my favorites).  Macy obviously has Cajun in her blood because she loved it (Macy staring at the camera was the most cooperation I could get) Steven is only part Cajun…he liked the beans.

Macy

Macy is still her usual sweet and sassy self.  I think she’s coming out of her shell more as she gets older.  She’s ALWAYS ” shell-less at home, but she can be timid in new situations or around new people.  I used to have to beg her to get on the animals at the zoo… Continue reading Macy

Steven

Steven has grown up so much in the past 6 months…and I know he’s not going to slow down!  He speaks in complete sentences most of the time…a lot of words are still in “Stevenese”, but if you’re around him enough it’s getting easier to translate.  Steven has reached “big boy” status at breakfast.  He’s… Continue reading Steven

Logan

Logan is such a quirky baby…our quirkiest by far…but he’s so happy, so edibly (my own adjective)  chubby, and such a joy! Logan LOVES his feet.  They are his favorite toy and it always amazes me that he can get his chunky little leg up so high! He also still loves his hands.  It makes… Continue reading Logan

Sweet Sibblings

Every once in a while I catch our kids doing something like this… Watching Tangled… Giving “hugs”… Sharing new toys… and reading books… even some without pictures or words. It makes my heart swell to see these sweet glimpses of love.

Pink eye and peas

We woke up Saturday morning to a very goopie eyed little boy. All 3 kids got gross eye infections with this eternal virus they’ve been passing around for 2 months…we’re talking buggars coming out of their tear ducts and red swollen eyes…yuck! This was our poor little man Saturday morning (unfortunately from this angle you… Continue reading Pink eye and peas
