They grow up so fast

I went to my doctors appointment today and when I got home I walked in to find Steven with earbuds in listening to music on Doug’s phone! Steven loved it and I have to admit that it was SO cute watching him dance to the music we couldn’t hear. He’s such a daddy’s boy!!

Sometimes

Sometimes when you’re on bed rest and your eye level with your 1 year old and shorter than your 2 year old, you feel more like an exhibit at a children’s museum than like a person. Here Macy is “tying a bow” (aka making my pants super tight) and Steven’s trying to turn my belly… Continue reading Sometimes

A Yuck and a Yumm

Steven has been learning to speak his mind a lot more these days (when he can get a word in).  I’ll post more later about the words that he’s been practicing lately, but one of the words he’s mastered is “yuck”.  I’ve been saying “yuck” whenever he puts something in his mouth that shouldn’t be… Continue reading A Yuck and a Yumm

Easter

The World's Greatest Toy

My friend Stacy and her daughter Madeline came to visit on Thursday and brought with her the World’s Greatest Toy for Macy to borrow…a trampoline!!!! It’s the best!! Poor Macy has left our house twice in the past 3 weeks, so this has been perfect to let her bounce some energy out. Steven loves trying… Continue reading The World's Greatest Toy

Bye Bye Bottles!

Grams (who didn’t know she was being photographed, so please don’t hold this picture against her) has done it…Steven is starting to drink from sippy cups! Every time I would try to switch him over he would get sick…and then I cared more about him drinking enough fluids more than what those fluids were being… Continue reading Bye Bye Bottles!

Sit 'n Spin

When your mom’s on bedrest and you’re stuck inside…it doesn’t get much better than a sit ‘n spin!
