Yes, I know I just skipped several letters, but after a late night last night getting in from Meridian and a VERY cranky 2 year old today, I’m done. I promise I will make up for it tomorrow! 😉

He's leaving on a jet plane
Doug is flying to Portland tomorrow to begin training for a side job opportunity. His flight leaves Charlotte at 7:45am and he will be in Portland for a week. Please pray for his journey to be safe and stress free and that he will have a great week of training. I love you babe! Have… Continue reading He's leaving on a jet plane
P is for Painting
Mom found one of our old paint with water books (do they even make these anymore?) for Macy. We figured that it would be another fun way to keep her entertained on a hot Mississippi afternoon…and it worked! I’m hoping she gets some of the Adam family’s artistic ability! Yes, I know I just commented… Continue reading P is for Painting
O is for Oppie
My dad wanted me to take this picture. It wasn’t a scene that just happened to be there and he told me to photograph it…he actually told me that he wanted a picture of Macy in her sunglasses and “fly navy” shirt walking Lucy (it was up to me to make it happen) It’s a… Continue reading O is for Oppie
N is for Noodles
Tonight was spaghetti night at the Smith house. Macy is a big fan of noodles…it doesn’t matter the shape, size, or topping! I think you can tell by her face that she was happy. And if you can’t tell by her face, this might help. 😉 That’s my girl! 🙂
M is for Meridian
We’re taking a mini road trip tomorrow to Meridian, MS. My nephew is being baptized tomorrow night! I’m so excited that he is a new brother in Christ! I’m so thankful to be able to witness this event in his life. 🙂 I’ll have more to write tomorrow night after our trip…
L is for Lucy
Lucy might be a little dog, but she’s a big part of this family. Macy loves Lucy, but is a little scared of Lucy’s bark (we’ve been here almost 2 weeks and she still jumps a mile whenever Lucy barks). When we first got here, Macy didn’t want to be put down anywhere close to… Continue reading L is for Lucy
K is for Krayons and Kurls
Yes, I know crayons and curls don’t start with “k”, but I can’t figure out something that actually starts with K….so I’m giving myself permission to change the spellings of a few words for the sake of my alphabet. 😉 Macy sat in her chair and colored for almost an HOUR today…an HOUR (this girl… Continue reading K is for Krayons and Kurls
J is for Jumping to Mommy
Macy has loved being in the water this summer. While we were at the beach, she learned to stand on the top step in the pool and jump (which is more like a forceful fall) to me. We started with her back to me and she would just fall back. Then she got a little… Continue reading J is for Jumping to Mommy
Big Green Ball
Mom got Macy one of her all time favorite toys…a plastic ball. She had fun playing ball with Oppie… and she jumped when the ball bounced. Then we discovered that Lucy LOVED (like crazy obsession type of love) the big green ball. She dragged mom all over the yard chasing the ball. Macy thought it… Continue reading Big Green Ball
