Mom and Macy went on a walk tonight while I was at dinner with friends. Macy loves the freedom that she’s had here and I’ve enjoyed letting her have it! Their first stop was the hangar. You know that if there are rocks around, Macy’s going to hold as many as she can. Macy led… Continue reading Walking with Grams

Hangar…Day 2
V is for Visiting Grandmommy KK and Uncle John
I feel very blessed to have had so much time with my grandmother and uncle this summer. We had our last visit of the summer with Uncle John and Grandmommy KK today. Macy was a little reserved at our first visit, but today she was her usual self (watch out world…here she comes!). Grandmommy took… Continue reading V is for Visiting Grandmommy KK and Uncle John
U is for Uncomfortable
Mom’s friend Faith let us borrow her swing while we were here. Steven tolerates our swing at home sometimes, but it’s not consistant…it swings front and back. Faith’s swing goes side to side…we call it “the coma chair” because when we first got here Steven couldn’t keep his eyes open if we put him in… Continue reading U is for Uncomfortable
T is for TLC
TLC is one of my guilty pleasures…some people take bubble baths, some go to the spa…I watch TLC. We have a very basic plan with our satellite (they’re practically paying us for our service) which doesn’t include TLC, so it’s been a year since I’ve been able to watch it! TLC for 3 weeks…ahhhhhh. 😉
Splash Park
Macy and I met our friends Donna and Clint and their little Eli at the splash park today. It was a lot of fun. I forgot my camera (but I probably wouldn’t have stayed dry enough to take pictures anyway). Here is Macy running toward the slide that she was scared of. 😉
Hangar Construction…Day 1
Today was the first day of hangar construction. If they get this done in one day, I’m expecting big results by Friday!
S is for Sprinkler
Macy has had fun playing in the sprinkler at Grams and Oppie’s house. Macy isn’t a fan of water splashing up in her face, so we had a little sprinkler. Perfect for filling cups! I think she was putting her cup over the water hole in this picture…right before the water pressure built up and… Continue reading S is for Sprinkler
R is for Rugs
One of the projects mom and I have been working on is finding rugs for their house. We’ve been looking for a foyer, dining room, and office rug…and we’ve almost exhausted our possibilities (and ourselves). Thankfully my faithful Target pulled through with a foyer rug! One down…two to go! 😉
Q is for Quiet
Let’s face it…what mom doesn’t LOVE nap time!
