I hope everyone has had a great Valentine’s Day. I have had an awesome day. Karen came in town so she went to the hospital with me this morning so Steven could meet his “Aunt KK”. It was nice for me to snag a little Karen time too! Karen filled her phone memory with pictures while we were there which was awesome because I can’t take pictures while I’m doing things with him (I’ll post those when I get all the pictures on the computer)
Steven nursed for 30 mins today off and on…usually he lasts 15ish…and he drank 24 ml…the most he drank last week was 17! I was extatic! His nurse was very laid back so I did everything from the time I got there to the time we left…which was awesome! All of the nurses are great, but it always feels good to feel like you’re the one taking care of your child. 🙂
Macy went down for her nap when I got home and Doug went to Best Buy (happy Valentine’s to him), so I got a little 30 minute nap in. When Macy got up I had some fun mommy/Macy time. Now she’s in bed and Doug and I are settling in for a quiet night. I think we’re going to get take out from Chili’s and watch a movie…the perfect Valentine’s night for us this year. :). Here’s a picture of Macy in her Valentine shirt. The camera on my phone takes a long time so by the time it takes a picture she’s stopped smiling…that’s why so many of her pictures have this concerned face. 😉
