Easter

Macy prepped by practicing her egg hunting skills.  She got pretty good at it this year!


Easter lunch was incredible!!  I think I could have grazed from the couch all day.  Macy and Steven agreed…


Doug’s mom made the traditional lamb cake (my absolute favorite…and I think Macy would agree with that too)


Macy also had her first peep this Easter!  It was a huge hit…

then the peep hit her…

Can you tell which kid didn’t get a peep? 😉 Don’t worry, your day will come buddy…

While we’re focusing on Steven, can I just mention how much I love the curly back of his baby head…LOVE IT!!

Dad A and Mr. D shared some post-lunch goodies (I think Mr. D has the right idea).

While Omie got some goodies of her own…


Grams was there too…providing bottle support…

It was a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection with our family!
(Disclaimer: Because I’m stuck on the couch, I wasn’t able to get the “usual” pictures of the kids all dressed up in their Easter clothes outside hunting eggs…but have no  fear…I fully intend on dressing them up again when I can get up and snapping some pictures.  We might be outside hunting Easter eggs in July, but I will get the pictures!)
