Napping on mom's shoulder

This is what Steven looked like after he took a little snuggle nap with me earlier. There are lines on his face, messy hair, and drool (yep, I was drooled on). True signs of a good nap! 🙂

Way to go mom

Macy’s hair is always fixed the same way and because of this she has a permanent left part. Now that summer’s on the way I’ve decided that it’s time to retrain her hair so I attempted to put it in pigtails tonight after her bath just to have some of it going the other way.… Continue reading Way to go mom

First little baby roll

This might seem weird to some people, but I’ve been waiting for Steven to get little baby fat rolls since he was born. He’s growing like a weed, but he’s still been long and skinny…until today! I noticed his first little leg rolls yesterday morning! It’s a odd little goal that I’ve for him and… Continue reading First little baby roll

Thank you Mrs. Zonia!

I was reconnected with one of the incredible women from my youth on facebook while I was in the hospital before Steven was born.  She was kind enough to send Macy and Steven some monogrammed bibs and a burp cloth.  They are adorable! (check out these cheeks!) Macy and Steven love their new bibs!  Thank… Continue reading Thank you Mrs. Zonia!

Happy Easter

We’ve had a great day celebrating our risen Lord.  We spent the day with Doug’s parents and their family friend Mr. “D”.  Doug’s brother and his family were with Louisa’s parents today so it was a smaller group at the Adam house, but fun as usual. The day started with a good breakfast. Macy had… Continue reading Happy Easter

The last of the flowers

I think our flowers have finally withered, but they were gorgeous while they were in full bloom. I never got a picture of the flower beds while they were all blooming at once, but here are some final pictures of them. Hopefully some will come back next year.

Steven's eyes

I just wanted to put some pictures up of Steven awake since there are so many pictures of him sleeping. He is awake more now. He usually stays awake for about an hour after 2 of his feedings (as long as those are daytime feedings I’m okay), but he does love his sleep! 🙂

This is how we roll

I’m not one of those people who can stay home everyday (even though I’m getting to be a “stay at home” mom right now), so we’ve been venturing out somewhere almost everyday. We had a great playdate on Thursday in Katie’s backyard. There were 5 two year olds, a 22 month old (Macy), a 8… Continue reading This is how we roll

Fly Navy!

My dad has been training Macy to say “fly Navy” since she could talk.  He “flies” her around the room and she absolutely loves it.  Dad ordered a pink “Fly Navy” shirt online for her and mailed it to her this week.  It’s definitely a hit! Holding her airplane with her Fly Navy shirt. Mommy… Continue reading Fly Navy!
