Some kind of virus has attacked our family over the past week. Doug got it first, Macy woke up sick on Tuesday, Doug’s mom woke up sick on Wednesday, and I’m hoping that the lighter sinusy version that I’ve had is all I’m going to get….fun times at the Adam household. The worst part is that I haven’t been able to go to the hospital to see Steven, but a clingy sick toddler is good distraction.
Macy is feeling much better. The first 2 days she was sick she didn’t want to be put down (so you can imagine how easy it was to pump and cuddle with Macy), but today she’s been a little more independent. This afternoon while I was pumping she got the laundry basket off the couch and emptied it (she’s learned that I can’t leave the couch when I’m pumping) and then she started trying to stuff her socks in her snack cup. Who knows what she’ll be doing tomorrow, but I’m so thankful that she’s feeling better! 🙂
