Steven is holding his own temperature well enough to move into a big boy bed (aka open air crib). He is still bundled up really well because his temperature is on the lower side that they like. He looks like a blanket burrito when you walk up to his crib. You have to get next to his head to be able to see it. 🙂
Another celebration is that is bilirubin is down to 8.7! We’re going in the right direction. 🙂
He didn’t eat very well yesterday…only 10ml from his bottle and 2 nursing, but he did MUCH better nursing today with 20ml. (I forgot to ask how his bottle went). Please keep praying that he will get the strength to eat more and more consistently. He’s gained weight well and is around 5lbs now, so we just need him to take his full bottles or his full nursings. 🙂
Wow! Way to gain weight Steven! That is so great that he has gained so much weight already. Too bad Eli can’t come teach him a thing or two about eating…he would be ready to go home in no time. I bet as his bili levels keep coming down he will wake up and eat more so he can go home soon. By the way, I LOVE the little burrito! It reminds me of when Eli was little and loved to sleep like that. 🙂
