Logan

Logan is such a quirky baby…our quirkiest by far…but he’s so happy, so edibly (my own adjective)  chubby, and such a joy!
Logan LOVES his feet.  They are his favorite toy and it always amazes me that he can get his chunky little leg up so high!

He also still loves his hands.  It makes me smile when I catch him staring at them.

He also loves being on the floor.  He doesn’t get to get down as much as he’d like because he has a big sister and big brother who don’t necessarily watch where they’re walking.  Obviously there’s something about this play mat that causes both of our boys trouble…

but Logan was able to use those “muscular” legs to get it back up on his own.  And he was pretty proud of himself.

Logan’s sleep patterns still boggle my mind.  He still amazes me by falling asleep during the day (with his loud brother and sister running around) in random places for a power nap…

He loves soft things, so falling asleep with the blanket that holds his bottle up happens often.  One day he found a stuffed frog to lay his head on and he was out…

A couple of days ago he even fell asleep in between bites in his highchair!  I’ve heard of babies doing that, but our kids are usually much more interested in eating to risk taking a nap.

Logan loved his 10 minute power nap and was ready to finish his dinner!

I guess I’m so amazed by his random power naps during the day, because until a couple of weeks ago, I saw this sweet face around 4am.

I’m very happy to report that he’s starting to sleep until 6 or 7am and that a couple of mornings that he woke up earlier he played in his bed until he fell back asleep for another hour or two!  Obviously he’s learning how to get on my good side. 🙂
Logan’s probably sleeping better because he’s eating solid food 3x a day now.  With more solid food, comes more chances to learn fun things like spitting…he loves to spit…

It’s even more fun when his mouth is full of food and you spray mom with a fine mist of goo…

Don’t grow up too fast little man!!
