Tuesday was Macy’s first day of preschool. Last year it took 3 weeks before I could drop her off and she wouldn’t cry…this year there weren’t any tears on day ONE (or two)!! I was such a proud mama. It definitely helps that she already knows most of the kids in her class and she kind of knew her teachers since I worked there last year. When I went to pick her up (I sat in a car rider line for the 1st time!) she told me that she “had a fun day and didn’t cry!”
We met Doug for a special 1st day of school lunch…Macy’s absolute favorite…Mexican. She had her own (pretty big) bowl of salsa and ate every last drop…literally…once it got too low for her to scoop out she had me pour it over her food! I think I ate WAY too much Mexican food when I was pregnant with her. 😉
I’m so thankful that she loves school and I hope she has a great year!
(I tried to get a 1st day of school picture when we got there, but Macy wasn’t having it. Maybe I’ll try for a 3rd day of school picture tomorrow. At least I got a 1st day of school lunch picture…she’s always happy at San Jose. ;))

So proud of Macy. She’s getting all grown up! And we LOVED watching her eat Mexican last time we were there! {what does she do that I wouldn’t love, though?}
I remember you craved Mexican food when pregnant with her. She’s amazing with the salsa! Very happy she loves school 🙂
