Orange Beach/Mississippi Trip

We’re on our way home from our annual beach / MS trip. We had a great time catching up with family and friends. This trip has been harder than usual with Macy because her top 2 teeth are coming in and she has had a rough time with them. I’ll have to add pictures from the beach when we get home but I have a few pictures on my phone from Jackson that I can add as we drive through Atlanta (my distraction from the crazy traffic).
One picture is of Macy and I in front of the carousel in Miskellys. The lady working there was very nice but she whisked Macy away and took her for a ride that Macy wasn’t very excited about. I jumped on the platform (while it was moving…very surprised I didn’t bust it…those things move faster than they look) and was able to calm her down enough that I think she enjoyed it a little.
The next picture is of our poor kiddo trying to sleep on the way home. After screaming most of the way to the beach we decided to buy a convertible car seat once we got to Brandon hoping that getting her out of her infant seat would help. She likes the seat, but it isn’t very comfortable for sleeping (as you can tell), so after another screaming fit we stopped at babies r us outside Atlanta and bought all of the pillow sleeping things we could find…and a new ball for any emotional damage the car rides have caused.
The last picture is her sleeping with her new pillows. They still aren’t as comfortable as she was in her infant seat but at least her head doesn’t bobble as it hangs. Poor little girl. One day she’ll grow into her new car seat.
