Saturday Breakfast

I was feeling spunky Saturday morning so I decided to make a special breakfast for Macy…something different from her usual oatmeal and fruit. She loved every bite of her waffle and scrambled egg. I think she’s going to be a breakfast lover like her mom. 🙂

What will she do next?!

Macy decided to play with the headrest on her caraway today on the way home from the store. She got it out from behind her head easily, but didn’t have as much luck with getting it back. I could see it flapping up and down in the rear view mirror and hear her grunting trying… Continue reading What will she do next?!

Our Daily "Adventures"

One of our favorite outings is to the mailbox (don’t worry, we also go to the gym to “play” at least 3 days during the week, so Macy does get out more than just to the mailbox).  Most days one of her toys makes the trip with us.  Last week we went to Bobby’s pool… Continue reading Our Daily "Adventures"

First Pigtails

I was feeling spunky this morning and decided to try pigtails with Macy’s hair. She was eating breakfast so she let pull her hair up. It’s not long enough in the back so I just used the hair that always gets in her eyes (the most important part). I think it was a pretty good… Continue reading First Pigtails

My Love for Target Continues….

Macy and I went to target this morning to give us a field trip for the day and while we were there we stumbled across these shoes on sale for $2.50! They’re too big now, but hopefully they’ll fit in time for winter. 🙂

My Favorite Invention

I bought this handy snack holder that clips onto shopping carts at Apple Annie’s while we were in MS over the summer. It’s one of the best things I’ve bought since Macy was born. It makes shopping so much easier if Macy can eat her snack (and not mac n cheese boxes) while we’re at… Continue reading My Favorite Invention

Toy holders

It cracks me up that Macy puts whatever toy (or bow) that’s in her hand when she sits in her highchair in one of her cup holder. They not only work for cups, but also bows and rubber duckies. 🙂

1st Nap With A Blankie

Macy hasn’t really taken to a “lovie”. I keep telling myself that this is a good thing…saving me sneaking the lovie away to wash, trying to find multiples should one get lost, convincing her that she really doesn’t need her lovie in college…all the fun things lovies include, but I love when babies have a… Continue reading 1st Nap With A Blankie

Daddy's Girl

Macy has already found a love of all things electronic. Here she is sitting on the couch with her favorite remote.
