I don’t know if Macy has a cold or has another horrible molar trying to come through, but she is miserable tonight. She started coughing last night then added a runny nose to the mix today. She hasn’t let it get her down too much until tonight when she got tired. She wanted soup for dinner (which I thought was a great idea since soup fixes everything), but unfortunately we were out of chicken and veggie…her favorite. After 3 failed soup attempts she ate half a grilled cheese sandwich and applesauce. She was so pitiful and patient while I brought out all the different soups trying to find one that she might like (usually she’d eat any of them, but she wasn’t in the mood for change).
She went down for bed really fast, but woke up about 2 hours later really unhappy. She’s now taking her 2nd nap on me since she woke up an hour and a half ago. It’s very hard to be a comfortable bed when you’re 6 1/2 months pregnant, but it looks like that’s my job for the night. Hopefully she will be able to go to sleep in her bed soon so we can both get a little rest!
