Doug was going to his parents house today to help do some yard work in preparation for it to be put on the market, so I thought Macy and I would take a quick trip over to get out of the house. The weather was absolutely perfect…sunny with a cool fall breeze. The principal at my school gave Macy this dress when she was born and I’ve been waiting for the perfect fall day for her to wear it…not exactly gardening wear, but she looked so cute! 🙂
Once Macy caught sight of “Lukie” the cat, she had to have her. Unfortunately for Macy, one of her squeals of excitement sent Lukie running for the hills. She was disappointed, but once we saw daddy pulling up with fun bags of mulch, everything was good again.
So much that she could get in to…..
She loved digging in the dirt for rocks. This girl really loves rocks. There’s not a walk we go on that we don’t have a rock to bring home with us.
Of coarse, once you find so many rocks, you have to line them up to see the treasures that you collected.
Macy had a fun little trip over to Omie and PopPop’s house. I was glad for both of us to be able to get out of the house on a beautiful Saturday. We came home, ate lunch, and now she’s been asleep for about an hour and a half…I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a really good nap!
