Bringing the outside in

Mom decided to give me a preview of what some of my flowers look like outside since I can’t go see them myself. I got the hydrangea for my birthday. It’s still in a pot because it needed a little tlc. It will get planted on mom’s next trip over (so she can keep babying… Continue reading Bringing the outside in

Thanks Uncle Bobby

Macy has been asking Doug to open her water table all week, but Doug’s been trying to finish the deck before he add something else outside. Today Macy pulled out the big guns and went straight to Uncle Bobby and asked him to put her water table together. Smart girl…she knew Uncle Bobby couldn’t say… Continue reading Thanks Uncle Bobby

Just a few reasons why we love Oppie, Uncle Brad, & Aunt Steph

My dad, brother, and sis-in-law came over for the birthday weekend (which I don’t have any pictures of yet bc Brad was the photographer for the weekend…which I’m VERY thankful for. I’ll post some when I get them from him). Brad and Dad helped Doug on phase 2 of the new deck (Doug has lots… Continue reading Just a few reasons why we love Oppie, Uncle Brad, & Aunt Steph

A little boy's loves

When you’re a little boy, what can beat discovering your belly button and shoving your entire fist in your mouth to eat the 2 cheerios that are in your hand? Not much… (p.s. They grow up so fast

I went to my doctors appointment today and when I got home I walked in to find Steven with earbuds in listening to music on Doug’s phone! Steven loved it and I have to admit that it was SO cute watching him dance to the music we couldn’t hear. He’s such a daddy’s boy!!

Fun for the whole family

I was blessed by an incredible gift basket from Mary Gasque, one of Doug’s very sweet clients (whom I’ve never even met!). He told me that a client had something for me, but I never expected the huge basket that he brought in! It was awesome! Macy’s eyes were huge when Doug brought it in…she… Continue reading Fun for the whole family

Sometimes

Sometimes when you’re on bed rest and your eye level with your 1 year old and shorter than your 2 year old, you feel more like an exhibit at a children’s museum than like a person. Here Macy is “tying a bow” (aka making my pants super tight) and Steven’s trying to turn my belly… Continue reading Sometimes

Our Exterminator

Macy used to be scared of bugs…not just normal scared…I’m talking a fly buzzed by her face once and she screamed like a girl and started crying. Obviously she’s gotten over a little of this fear (at least of microscopic bugs)…that or she’s seen Doug and I kill one too many bugs with our shoes.
