If you ever need to bribe Macy, offer a banana. This girl LOVES her bananas!
Books are a big part of Macy’s day. She will read anything within reach no matter what it’s about…this book was one of my favorites as a child (I should have known I would end up being a teacher).
My friend Conner was in Jackson with her mom on Monday (both of our parents live in MS and both of our husbands parents live in SC, so even though Conner is in St. Louis we sometimes are able to end up in the same place at the same time), so we met them for a very busy lunch. Conner has a little girl who is a couple months older than Macy and another that is a couple months younger than Steven, so you can only imagine the looks we got at Chic-fil-a! After lunch, she and the girls came over so they could take a nap while we caught up. We had one in a crib, 2 in pack-n-plays, and one on a quilt on the floor…and believe it or not there was a time they were ALL SLEEPING at the same time! Unfortunately Macy missed the photo shoot (maybe next time), but Ellie Cate and Steven had some fun playing. It was fun to have a few hours to talk and catch up! 🙂
Steven looked a little concerned that Ellie was in his personal space.
I think he liked it and thought he’d try it out.
