As I was putting away Macy’s winter clothes she spotted her snowman (which sounds like “no man” when she says it).  This snowman was given to her by “Uncle Bobby” a long time ago and was hidden nicely in her closet until yesterday.  Snowman plays “Ice Ice Baby” as he dances with his arms and head.  It’s one of those things that’s hilarious until your child falls in love with it and you hear it a hundred times an hour…not so funny anymore.

I guess Macy remembered that snowmen had to be cold, so she quickly added her hat and mittens to her outfit for the day.  She was a little unsure of Snowman at first….

but then quickly remembered how much she loved to watch him sing and dance.

After only a few hours with Snowman, Doug and I realized that he needed to go into hiding again.  Snowman went out last night and hasn’t come home yet, so my sanity was spared….for a while…then at one point in the morning I told Macy that I needed to vacuum.  For some reason she DID NOT want me to vacuum, so I decided to get Macy’s vacuum out of her closet.  I was hoping that she could vacuum with me, but it backfired.  Macy got this vacuum for Christmas.  It’s very cute and would be awesome to let her play (and hopefully learn how to clean at the same time!), but I made the mistake of not taking the batteries out before I gave it to her.  This vacuum not only makes “vacuum noises”, but it also plays classical music with the push of a button.  Classical music that is LOUD!  I’m not sure why so many toy makers think that children can’t hear, but they all make their toys incredibly loud!  So now instead of “Ice Ice Baby” I have Mozart blaring in the living room.  She loves it though, so at least she’s happy as I clean around her…now I just have to convince her that the vacuum cleaner does not need to go night night with her. 😉  Here are a few pictures of Macy LOVING her loud Mozart playing vacuum cleaner. 🙂

And a pigtails picture. 😉

YAY… At least I won’t be left feeling guilty about the snowman for the rest of the week. I didn’t give her the vacuum… LOL 🙂 I love that kid, she’s just too smart.
