I’m very thankful that Columbia has several huge consignment sales because that’s where I get all of Macy and Steven’s clothes for the season. There are sales in the spring and the fall so we can get their full wardrobe for great prices! My favorite sale is the M.O.M. sale that the Mothers of Multiples sponsors. We have a friend that’s a member of the club so I’m able to go to the preview sale before it’s open to the public.
I love the challenge of trying to stretch a penny as far as it can possibly go, so these sales are marked on my calendar months in advance. My favorite part of the sales are coming home and having my sweet husband listen to my excitement about the kids clothes and the great deals I found. 🙂

All of this was less than $100…and if you’ve been shopping for kids clothes lately (especially shoes) then you know this is an incredible deal! Mom and I went to another sale on their half price day and got some more clothes so both kids have full wardrobes for the spring/ summer for less than $175. It’s a big chunk to pay at once, but not having to buy any other clothes or shoes for the next 6 months is awesome…and it’s the same as spending $30 a month on clothes (which would never happen in a store shopping for 2 kids!)
