Another beautiful day means another trip to the park. This was the first time I took both kids somewhere on my own. It went surprisingly well. We were about 15 mins late to Katie’s house, but considering I got out of bed 15 mins late I was impressed. We walked to the awesome park down the street from Katie’s and let Macy and Zoe play. Macy is still too short to get on the equipment on her own and she’s much less fearless than Zoe, so she wants mom close by when she plays. Steven was very flexible by drinking his bottle as I pushed Macy on the swing. Once he finished his bottle he passed out in his carseat. He was so comfortable that I left him in it once we got home and he was sound asleep until his next feeding.
Macy had a great time playing with Zoe. She’ll get more Zoe playtime tomorrow. She’s going over for her normal Friday with Katie and Zoe so I can catch up on a little sleep and get a few things marked off my to do list (and sneak in some snuggle time with my baby boy). 😉
Trips to the park are fun for everyone! It’s nice that Steven is so cooperative. The snuggles are very sweet times!
