A page from a blog(Before there were PC's)

As many of you know, I (Doug)  rarely post anything on the “Mom” blog, but I would like to take some time to share a little “find” that I had this morning while cleaning out my file cabinet. While throwing away some old manuals, I stumbled upon an old piece of paper with my Mom’s handwriting…..was she writing about me or our little boy? 🙂
June 1977  –
Douglas is now two and here we go again. How quickly we forget the experiences “the two year old puts a mother through”. Back in 1970 I wrote “what am I in for”! Little did I know. Steve and Brian are 8 & 9 now and enjoying everything that age enjoys – baseball (placed second in the league). Brian played second & Steve played first. Being totally prejudiced, they were the best on the team. They also enjoy frogs, snakes, and hating girls (although the girls call on the phone and ask about them all of the time – so much for liberation.)
Back to Douglas – Loves his brothers! They love him (when he isn’t destroying their Legos.) Doug picked up the hose yesterday. I just sat down to read the paper when he let me have it! He was so surprised he couldn’t let it go.
His habits in the store leave a lot to be desired!! He screams when he can’t his own way. He loves to play catch. He says “hey”-just like the “Fonz” and he says – “give me five.”
