Fun for the whole family

I was blessed by an incredible gift basket from Mary Gasque, one of Doug’s very sweet clients (whom I’ve never even met!). He told me that a client had something for me, but I never expected the huge basket that he brought in! It was awesome!
Macy’s eyes were huge when Doug brought it in…she was just as excited as I was. We dove into it together. Thankfully she was much more interested in the red crinkle paper strips in the bottom that all of my goodies. As I unpacked the basket I was amazed at how perfect every little detail of this basket was…I had to ask Doug if the giver of the basket had ever been on bed rest before because it was everything I could have asked for (without even realizing what I wanted).
I didn’t realize that as I unpacked, Macy was taking out every last strand of the red paper with gleeful giggles. When I looked up our house looked like Times Square after the ball drops! Macy had SO much fun with that red paper (although I thought Doug might break out in hives watching the mess grow).
I can’t say thank you enough for this beautiful (and perfect basket), Mary! I’ve loved having some new entertainment and snacks (by the way, the cinnamon and cocoa almonds are awesome…a new favorite!) As soon as Logan is here and he can get out, we’re going to come and say thank you in person for your sweet generosity! 🙂
