I is for Inspiration and Ice Cream

I completely flaked out on the letter “i” last night, so I thought I’d make up for it tonight.  We went to my aunt Ramona’s house yesterday so Macy could swim in their pool.  Their backyard is very inspiring!  I was ready to get in the car and start turning our backyard into a little family haven…until I remembered that we have 2 big dogs that live back there and they pretty much destroy everything in their path.  Maybe after they have gone to doggie heaven our backyard can get a little attention.
This is the view from the little “cabana” (at least that’s what I call it) down by the pool…we had to make a quick get away before both kids lost it, so I didn’t get a picture of the cabana, but it was very cute with a couch and 2 hanging rope chair swings.

The cabana had wisteria as it’s roof…gorgeous!

This is the little gazebo in the corner of the yard.

This was Macy’s favorite part of the yard (except for the pool of coarse).  It’s not an angel (at least I don’t think it was), but she thought it was and instead of calling it an angel, she called it a “maingel”.

Another big “I” in Mississippi is ice cream.  It might single handedly contribute to me gaining 20lbs. while we’re here, but it’s been SO good (every day…or sometimes twice a day)!
