The kids and I went to Mississippi for spring break this year. Doug had to stay at home to work, so we got to stay with my parents for 10 days. It was a great trip (Mom even survived the car ride with the kids both ways). Ten days is a perfect length of time to stay because we got to do everything we had planned, but didn’t feel rushed like we usually do. And we were all VERY ready to see Doug when we got home!
We did a lot…like play at the park (which happens to be the coolest park I’ve ever been to)
Eat hamburgers on the porch…
And play in forts in the living room.
We also saw lots of airplanes, visited a firehouse, caught up with friends, met Marleigh Kate, and ran…a lot. It was a great trip. I can’t wait until we go back this summer and add some water to the mix! 🙂
