Macy must have heard all the talk about Steven eating so well because this morning she ate her bowl of oatmeal all by herself! We’ve been working on eating with a spoon for a while now and she’s been doing really well with getting the spoon from the bowl to her mouth, but scooping a bite has been tricky.
This morning she took her spoon and dove in! I had to help her toward the end because there wasn’t much oatmeal left to scoop…and one time she picked up the bowl to try and make scooping easier which landed oatmeal on her tray, but other than that she did it all on her own. 🙂
Im so proud of her! It’s perfect timing for her to become a little more independent…as long as she still needs her mom sometimes. 😉
That will be a very helpful morning activity…especially when Steven comes home. She looks very proud of herself 🙂
