Logan has been moved out of his isolette and into an open air bassinet. He’s doing really well holding his temperature. It was so nice to see him in a real bed and with clothes on!
He’s doing well with his bottles and is up to 4 bottle feeds a day (I can nurse during one of those feedings). I nursed him today for the first time. He did pretty well considering it was his first time. The Lexington doesn’t have the crazy expensive breast feeding scale that Richland had, but Logan passed out after he finished nursing so he must have been satisfied.
His nurse said that I can bring his car seat tomorrow so they’ll have it when they’re ready to do his car seat test. They still can’t say when he’ll come home, but taking half of his feedings by bottle/nursing and taking in his car seat are all signs that point toward the door!
We’re all ready for this little brother to come home!!

His little outfit is soo cute 🙂
YAY!! So… what is The Carseat Test?
They’ll put him in his car seat with all of his monitors still attached and watch him for about an hour and a half. Sometimes smaller babies who have already had respiratory or heart rate problems can’t handle being squished in the car seat position. If they do have problems in the car seat they’ll usually still let the baby go home, but they use a car bed instead of the car seat. Steven did fine during his car seat test so I’m praying Logan will too. 🙂
