This is coming a little late, but I knew I had to get pictures up from Macy’s first birthday before we leave for Orange Beach tomorrow (and have more pictures that need posting). We were blessed to be surrounded by friends and family to celebrate Macy’s special day. I was especially excited that Macy’s Grams, Granddad, Uncle Brad, and Aunt Steph were able to make the trip!

Macy had a great time playing with Aunt Steph while she was here.

She even got some snuggle time in with a good book. On Friday night (Macy’s “real” birthday) we opened presents with our family.

She loved her puzzle (I couldn’t get the plastic off fast enough) and turtle puppet from Omie and PopPop.

Her ball from Grams and Granddad was also an instant hit.

She loved the airplane and sand toys that Uncle Brad and Aunt Steph gave her (and she can’t wait to put the sand toys to use this weekend!) The next morning we got up bright and early for Macy’s birthday party with friends.

We had our pavillion at the park decorated and ready for the big event.

And Macy was very excited about her big day to get started.

She had fun playing with her friends….

and loved swinging with daddy.

Her cake even turned out to be a success (thanks to my birthday mixer)!

Macy wasn’t crazy about her sweet cake,

and thought dumping in on the table was much more fun.

After cake it was time to open presents. She got a lot of wonderful gifts,

was very thankful for everyone who came to celebrate with her,

And was ready for a long nap when it was over. Thank you to everyone who celebrated Macy’s big day with us. We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives!
