Macy

Macy is still her usual sweet and sassy self.  I think she’s coming out of her shell more as she gets older.  She’s ALWAYS ” shell-less at home, but she can be timid in new situations or around new people.  I used to have to beg her to get on the animals at the zoo for a picture…on this zoo trip she insisted that I take about 100 pictures of her with each statue.  So I guess she’s either coming out of her shell or well trained. 😉

She loves picking out her own clothes…who says you can’t wear stripes with plaid…or a turtleneck on the first day the temperature hit 80?

She also has drawn her 1st recognizable picture!  Can you tell what it is?

It’s a bug!  (and that’s a tree to the right).  We were both proud of her artwork.

A few days ago I happened to catch her writing her name for the 1st time!

She’s so funny about what she gets excited about and wants to show other people.  I asked her if she wanted to show Daddy how she could write her name when he got home…”nope”…and her name was erased.  I’m thankful that I saw it and could take a quick picture!

If you ever need cheering up, just take Macy to a Mexican restaurant…

Watching her eat her entire bowl of salsa with a fork will make anyone smile.  (I’m still convinced that I ate WAY too much Mexican food when I was pregnant with her…her love for salsa is over the top.)

I love watching her grow and the conversations we are able to have now.  It still boggles my mind that she’ll be 4 in a couple of months!!
